With metal prices on the increase, it's no surprise that schools are increasingly becoming the target of thieves who are quick to exploit a lack of security to steal metal including lead, copper and stainless steel roof coverings, copper lightning conductors, pipes and even iron gates.
This can lead to a hefty bill for replacements and result in building structures being damaged, which may lead to leaks, water damage to internal furnishings, and potential disruption to teaching. To help you when you're talking to your clients about the risk of metal theft, we've created this useful infographic to give them at-a-glance tips to protect their premises from this crime.
