FM Global commissioned a study of 100 CFOs into their risk losses over the past five years and their future resilience plans. The findings reveal that while 66% of organisations suffered equipment failure, just 34% were prepared for it. Likewise, 24% were braced for cyber attacks but 59% had no plan in place to recover from this growing hazard. While 52% of operations were disrupted by natural disasters, only 33% were prepared for the wrath.
This indicates sizeable opportunities for CFOs to implement stronger plans with increased data, to move resilience forward within their organisations.
